It was a great night for the Lady Tiger track team at the Parchment Relays on Friday night. It was a close meet with the girls finishing in 4th place, but only 8 points out of second place! The team saw some great times and performances overall and knocked out a couple relay bests on the evening as well. The girls 800m Relay of Cervantes, Lake, Edwards, and Nahikian too 1st and had a PR of 1:54.2. Nahikian,Cervantes, and Lake teamed up with Watson to also win the 1600m Relay in a team and season best of 4:25.3. The Alyssa and Reagin Cherry  placed 3rd in the shot put, both have personal bests on the night throwing 27’3.75″ and 24’11” respectively. Beth Schafer and Watson finished 3rd in the long jump with a combined distance of 27’6″.   Nahikian, Lake, Cervantes, and Garcia won the shuttle hurdle relay in an outstanding time of 1:13.75. The distance medley relay of Garcia, Flynn, Mills, and Osburn had a huge day and took away a 3rd place finish overall. In one of the most exciting events of the night the thrower’s 400m relay of Riess,Cherry,Cherry, and Belden held off the competition to place 3rd and medal! Outstanding night ladies and congratulations on bringing home all the hardware.
