Wrestling Individual Districts: 14 Qualify For Regionals

Allegan Wrestling had a huge day at the MHSAA Division III Individual Districts at Paw Paw High School today as all 14 wrestlers qualified for next Saturday’s Individual Regional at Lakewood High School. Boys Basketball: Otsego 77 Allegan 34

Boys Basketball was defeated Friday at Otsego 77-34. Trey Hoffman led the Tigers with 11 points, Tim Galbreath scored nine. Next Tuesday (Feb. 11) Boys Basketball will host Edwardsburg starting at 7:15 pm.

Girls Basketball: Otsego 56 Allegan 30

Girls Basketball fell at Otsego 56-30 Friday night.  Next Monday (Feb. 10) Girls Basketball host South Haven in a make-up game starting at 7:00 pm before traveling to Edwardsburg on Tuesday, Feb. 11.

11th Annual Cash Party Tickets Now On Sale

Bowling: Feb. 6 vs. Coloma

Girls Bowling fell to Coloma 27-3 Thursday night. Coloma girls won both bakers games 140-100 & 149-102. The first regular game Coloma won 825-718 the 718 was the high series for the Tigers. Allegan was lead by Elizabeth Matthews who had a career high game of 251.  Game two also went Coloma’s way winning 762-648.

Competitive Cheer: 5th at Wolverine Conference Championships

Competitive Cheer finished 5th overall at the Wolverine Conference Championships hosted by Otsego Wednesday night. The Tigers scored 203.80 (Round 1); 180.46 (R 2) and 253.60 (R 3) for a team score of 637.86. Next Wednesday (Feb. 12) the cheer team will compete at the Vicksburg Invitational starting at 6:00 pm.

Wrestling Wins Team Districts

Wrestling defeated Fennville 78-0 and South Haven 64-9 in the District Team Finals Wednesday night at Allegan.  The wrestlers will now advance to Team Regionals next Wednesday (Feb. 12) at 6:00 pm vs. Coloma with Allegan hosting the regional. Saturday (Feb. 8) the wrestlers will be in Paw Paw for Individual Districts starting at 9:30

Bowling: Feb. 4 vs. Paw Paw

Girls Bowling fell to Paw Paw 28-2 Tuesday night at Sunset Lanes. Jessica Willey led Allegan 130-135 for a 265 series. Boys Bowling fell to Paw Paw 16-14. Jordan Lambert threw a 194, Tyler Johnson 177 and Cole Evans 167 for the Tigers. Both Bowling teams will travel to Coloma on Thursday (Feb. 6) starting at 6:00 pm.

Boys Swim & Dive: Bridgman 102 Allegan 78

Boys Swimming & Diving fell to Bridgman 102-78 Tuesday evening. Saturday (Feb. 8) the team takes on Alma & Plainwell starting at 1:30 pm at Plainwell.
