Wolverine Conference “Cause Night” – Jan. 31

The Wolverine Conference “Cause Night” has been scheduled for Friday, Jan. 31 with six leagues games scheduled that evening, including Allegan’s Boys & Girls Varsity teams playing at Plainwell. Anyone who purchases a “Wounded Warrior” t-shirt ($12) and wears it to the game – admission is free and will help support a great cause. Allegan’s funds raised

Competitive Cheer: Allendale Invitational

Saturday the Competitive Cheer team competed at the Allendale Invitational and finished with a team score of 545.12.  For more coverage of the Allendale Invitational – click here. Wednesday (Jan. 22) Competitive Cheer will visit Paw Paw.

Wrestling Competes at Hudson Super 16

Wrestling competed Saturday at the Hudson Super 16 Individual Tournament. Kyle Simaz finished 2nd in the 145 weight class and Chase Beard 3rd at 152 to lead the Tigers. Bowling: Jan. 18 vs. Niles & South Haven

Girls Bowling fell to South Haven 18-12 and Niles (Gold) 20-10 on Saturday at Sunset Lanes. Jessica Willey (179) and Brittany Rutherford (176) were the Tigers top performers on the day. Boys Bowling split to matches defeating Niles (Blue) 27-3 and falling to South Haven 28-2. Craig Holly (191), Tyler Johnson (185), and Austin Hardy

Boys Basketball: Vicksburg 63 Allegan 48

Boys Basketball fell to Vicksburg Friday night 63-48. Next week features three homes games starting with Three Rivers on Tuesday (Jan. 21), Mattawan on Wednesday (Jan. 22) and Paw Paw on Friday (Jan. 24).

Wrestling: Jan. 15 at Dowagiac

The Wrestling team traveled to Dowagiac Wednesday evening and stayed perfect in Wolverine Conference action with wins over Otsego 75-6 and Dowagiac 69-6. Saturday the wrestlers will be at the Hudson Invitational.

Bowling: Jan. 15 vs. Comstock

Boys Bowling fell to Comstock 23-7 Wednesday at Sunset Lanes. Top scores for the Tigers were Cole Evans with a 192 game, Austin Hardy and Tyler Johnson with 158’s. Girls Bowling defeated Comstock 26-4. Top scores were led by Jessica Willey with a 160, Elizabeth Mathews 148 and Brittany Rutherford 145. Both Bowling teams will be home
