Girls Basketball Opens Season With A Win

The Lady Tigers began the 2017-18 season with a victory over the visiting Gobles Tigers, 41-34. Girls Basketball District: Tigers season ends in District Finals

Girls Basketball fell Friday night 43-29 to Otsego in the District Finals at Hopkins High School. Delanie Nahikian led the Tigers with 10 points, Antonette Ware added 9 points and Kara Bishop had 5 points. The Tigers finish the season 15-8 overall.

Girls Basketball District: Tigers advance to District Finals with 57-40 win

Girls Basketball defeated Hopkins tonight 57-40 in the Semifinal of the Class B District at Hopkins. Leslie Scane led the Tigers with 19 points while Kara Bishop had 11, Delanie Nahikian 9 and Antonette Ware 7 points. Girls Basketball opened up MHSAA District tournament action tonight at Hopkins and has advanced with a 56-47 win over Wayland. The Tigers got balance scoring tonight with Leslie Scane leading the way with 19 points, Kara Bishop 14, Antonette Ware 9 and Delanie Nahikian added 8 points. “Seniors Night” would be an understatement. Behind (Sr.) Leslie Scane’s career high 27 points the Tigers defeated Three Rivers tonight 47-45.
